Promoting Climate Literacy
In an NSF-funded project, students interacted with foundational ideas in pedagogy for working with informal audiences. I helped develop and teach this course at UC Berkeley as a collaboration with the Lawrence Hall of Science.
We started teaching a re-vamped version of this course in Spring 2024 at Rutgers University. Students learn foundational learning science and climate science, then practice communicating scientific concepts with the general public. |
